Once all of your prize cards have been drawn or when your opponent draws their last card you win. 2.There is 1 main card zone and 5 zones on the bench. Pokémon on the bench can be evolved and switched out to the main card zone at an energy cost. Energies can be equipped to the card and discarded to make an attack or discarded to switch out for one of the Pokémon on the bench. 3.To attack your opponents Pokémon you will have to equip the right amount and type of energies and once the attack is done discard the energies. NEA Statement of intent

My magazine will be and educational magazine that will be aimed at 10 – 13 year olds. It will based on the turn based RPG (role-playing game) Pokemon and how to play the card game (TCG – trading card game). My magazine will be aimed for people who are new to the Pokemon TCG, or for people who want to re-familiarise themselves with the rules. I would say that it is for a niche audience because the Pokemon games and anime (Show) are more popular than the TCG. The magazine will include a detailed step by step tutorial on how to play the card game alongside pictures of the card so that people can follow it more easily. This will also accompany people who learn in different ways such as visual learners. My magazine will be called 'Professor Blackthorn (Prunus Spinosa) - TCG'. Blackthorn trees grow in the UK and Pokemon professor names are based on trees such as Oak (Quercus), ‘Juniper (Juniperus Genus)’ and ‘Sycamore (Acer Pseudoplatanus)’. This will be a nice nod to the Pokemon...

NEA Part 8 - Casting

In this task i will be deciding the people that will be helping me to take pictures or provide props too me. Corey Law : He is a good friend of mine and could help provide the cards and / or props that i will need to enhance the readers / viewers experience. Joey Langford : Also a good friend with a good knowledge of the card game and could also provide cards and / or props to add to the readers experience.

NEA PART 7 - Location information

I will be talking about where i will be taking the pictures of the cards and / or other props that i will need for my magazine. I will primarily be using a bids eye view / top down shot or close up shot to photograph my props. This will occur in my house probably in my room on a flat white or black table. They could also be taken on a grey sofa, so that all the focus will be on the prop.

NEA Part 6 - Product Style Profile

Image
In this task i will be planning and creating sketches that should reflect or help me on what i would do in my real magazine. I believe sketching is important because it will help visualise my 'final' product, this will help me improve my work. Corey Law: I like the third one. Andrew Quirke : I prefer the third one. Priyan Rathinraj: I prefer the third one because it has pictures of what the cards are. From my research i can see that people like the third one the most because it has more information and is more developed. This went along with my predictions that the most interactive one and the one that provided to most information would be the most popular.
